What is Google Scholar?

  • Google Scholar is a search tool that locates open access academic publications (i.e. articles and journals).
  • Click here for an explanatory video about academic articles and journals.

Does EvCC have access to the articles on Google Scholar?

  • If you access Google Scholar when you're on campus, you will automatically see "Get full text at EVCC" links next to article citations.

Off Campus instructions for accessing open-access academic publications on Google Scholar:

  • Go to Google Scholar
  • What should I do if I'm asked to pay for an article? Never pay for articles!  If EvCC does not own the journal, current students, staff, and faculty may request it through Interlibrary Loan. Interlibrary Loan
