Enter the same log in as you use for Canvas, MyEvCC, and the campus computers. This login expires every 180 days. It can be reset at MyAccount.

  • Are you using your campus network username and password? This is the same login as Canvas.
  • Are you a current student? Login credentials only work for current students and employees.
  • Make sure you accessed the databases through the library web page and not Google or some other means.
  • Try a different web browser. Some databases do not run well in certain browsers.
  • Make sure cookies are enabled in your browser. See Troubleshoot Database Access for assistance with specific browsers.
  • Clear your browser's cache. See Troubleshoot Database Access for assistance with specific browsers.
  • If you haven’t changed your campus (same as Canvas) password in the last 180 days, the login will not work. Reset it at My Account. This will also change your password for Canvas, student email and campus computers. Some special characters used in passwords are incompatible with our server. We recommend using a question mark (?) or exclamation point (!). The IT Help Desk can assist if you have any issues resetting your password.
  • Occasionally, our login server or the databases are down for maintenance. Try again in a few hours or the next day.
  • In a crunch for time? If you have a public library card, your local library web site also offers access to some databases such as those from Gale.
  • Consult a librarian in-person at the Cascade LRC, 3rd floor, via email at library@everettcc.edu or by phone at 425-388-9354 for assistance.
  • Some databases provide citations only for some periodicals.
  • If you’re using Primo and can’t get the article, try going directly to the database instead.
  • Use interlibrary loan to get a copy of an article not in full-text in our databases.
