LGBTQ+: On Campus

Resources on campus, locally and online for the LGBTQIA+ community and their allies.

Pride Center

The EvCC Pride Center, a safe space dedicated to education, advocacy and celebration of our LGBTQIA+ students and staff is located in the Parks Student Union Building, Room 221B.

The Pride Center is a place where students can ask questions, seek support and resources, and feel safe to be who they are. Thanks to the continuing strong support of members of the campus community and partnership between Student Life, the Diversity and Equity Center, Triangle Alliance and Safe Zone.

Triangle Alliance

The Triangle Alliance is a student club that "provides social support, awareness and information concerning Gay, Lesbian, Bi-Sexual and Transgender issues."  Allies are welcome.

Counseling & Student Success

The Counseling & Student Success Center, located on the third floor of Parks, is staffed by Master's Level Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselors.

Open Monday-Friday, they offer free, short-term confidential counseling for students as well as referrals to resources in the community.

Safe Zone

Everett Community College supports the Safe Zone Program which strives to create a campus "where Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, and other LGBTQIA+ students, staff and faculty feel safe, comfortable, accepted and supported."
